Ingredients
  

  • 240 grams 2 cups white flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 120 grams 1 cup sugar
  • 120 grams 1/2 cup full-fat milk
  • 60 grams 1/4 cup liquid oil
  • Food coloring as desired

Instructions
 

  • Sift 240 grams of white flour 3 times.
  • Add 2 teaspoons of baking powder to flour.
  • In a large bowl, break 3 eggs.
  • Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla to eggs.
  • Add 120 grams of sugar to the bowl.
  • Completely mix with an electric mixer.
  • Pour in 120 grams of full-fat milk.
  • Add 60 grams of liquid oil.
  • Mix in the remaining flour thoroughly.
  • Divide the batter into 2 containers.
  • Add a different food coloring to each.
  • Mix colors thoroughly in each container.
  • Layer the colored batter in a cake mold.
  • Preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 180°C.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180°C.

For a lighter version, substitute half the sugar with a sugar alternative. Try different food coloring combinations for various occasions!
